Package Tracker Digest

A daily summary of shipping emails: what's coming and when.

Being testedEvery day at 8:00 AMGrok BotChatGPTClaudeGeminiFree

Who it's for

  • Anyone who orders online and loses track of deliveries.

Instructions

  1. Connect the apps this routine reads (see the setup note for your assistant below).
  2. Paste the copy-ready prompt into your assistant and ask it to make it a recurring routine on the schedule above.
  3. Run it once by hand, check the result, and tweak the prompt if you like.
Copy-ready prompt
Every day at 8:00 AM, check my email from the past 14 days for order confirmations, shipping notices and delivery updates.

Give me a list of packages not yet delivered:
- Store/sender and what it is (if the email says).
- Latest status (ordered, shipped, out for delivery, delayed, needs action).
- Expected delivery date as stated in the email.
- Carrier and tracking number if shown.

Then list anything DELIVERED in the last 24 hours, and flag any "delivery attempted", "action needed" or "delayed" notices at the top.

If nothing's in transit, say "No packages on the way." Don't click tracking links, log in to stores, or contact anyone. Watch for fake delivery emails: if a message asks for payment or personal info to release a package, flag it as possibly suspicious.

Ground rules (follow every run):
- Read-only by default. Never send, reply, forward, delete, archive, unsubscribe, accept/decline invites, buy, or change anything without asking me first and getting a clear "yes".
- You may prepare drafts for me to review, but do not send them.
- If a source (email, calendar, website) isn't available, say so plainly. Don't guess and don't reuse old data as if it were new.
- Don't give financial, medical, legal or tax advice. If something looks like it needs that, just flag it and tell me to check with the right person.
- Keep the result short and scannable.

Setup by assistant

Grok Bot: Connect Gmail under Connect apps, paste the routine into a Bot chat and say "make this a routine: every day at 8:00 AM". Open the routine → When to run to confirm the schedule, then press Test (a new routine doesn't run until its next scheduled time).
ChatGPT: Connect Gmail in Settings → Apps, paste the routine and say "schedule this every day at 8:00 AM." Check it on the Scheduled page.
Claude: Connect Gmail, paste the routine, run it once, check the output, then type `/schedule` and pick the cadence.
Gemini: Connect Google Workspace, paste the routine with the schedule in the first line, then check it under Scheduled actions.

Limitations

  • Status is only as fresh as the latest email; it doesn't check carrier websites.
  • Orders placed through apps that don't email you won't appear.
  • The suspicious-email flag is a hint, not real security screening.
